Warren Worthington III was born into a wealthy and privileged family, but a life of secrecy took hold when he began to see large white wings sprout from his shoulders. Gradually overcoming his fear of persecution, he became one of the founding members of the X-Men, fighting many evil forces with his mutant gifts.
