Termite Assault Drills

The siege of fortifications used to be the preserve of bombers and long-range siege weapons. However, the invention of the Termite Assault Drill enabled the Legiones Astartes to deploy their shock troops directly into the heart of enemy fortresses by going underground, thus protecting them from interception. These transports continued to be used during the Horus Heresy, by Loyalists and Traitors alike, to attack otherwise impregnable fortifications.
