Sun and Moon are the only Gifted identified among the Patricians. While the ruling class normally lacks magical powers, these two partygoers are the exception. Their true identity remains a mystery, as does the origin of their existence in Venice before the Rent in the Sky. Nobody knows where they come from, but everyone recognizes their presence the moment they appear.
