Sd.kfz 251/9 Ausf D (stummel) Half Track

The Sd.Kfz 251 half-track, commonly referred to as the 'Hanomag' after its manufacturer Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG, was the standard German armoured personnel carrier used throughout World War II. Reliable and highly adaptable, it served as the basis for many specialised variants. One such version was the Sd.Kfz 251/9, nicknamed the ‘Stummel’ (‘Stump’) due to its short-barrelled 7.5cm gun.
