Malifaux is a dark and twisted alternate world, a distorted reflection of Earth in the early 1900s. This setting blends gothic horror, Victorian architecture, steampunk constructs, and Wild West gunslingers into a rich and atmospheric universe. Its lands are dangerous and largely lawless, filled with undead amalgamations, vengeful spirits, and other nightmarish creatures lurking in the shadows. Despite these constant dangers, Soulstones continue to draw factions into Malifaux’s depths, hidden within cavernous catacombs and worth far more than the blood required to obtain them.
