Malifaux is a twisted mirror of an alternate Earth in the 1900s, a world where gothic horror meets Victorian architecture, steampunk constructs, and wild west gunslingers. In these near lawless lands, the undead roam alongside monstrous amalgamations, vengeful apparitions, and other creatures that lurk in the dark. Yet despite the constant danger, many still venture into this world, drawn by the Soulstones buried deep within cavernous catacombs, whose value far outweighs the blood and sweat required to obtain them.
