Boston is a region steeped in history, which inspired the formation of the Minutemen. These are not professional soldiers but a citizen militia, ready to respond at a moment’s notice—hence their name. Their role as protectors of the Commonwealth was tragically tested in October 2287, when the city of Quincy was attacked and destroyed by the Gunners, leaving the Minutemen powerless. Despite this setback, hope remains: a new general has risen, and the clatter of laser muskets is once again heard across the wasteland.
