Kv-85 Heavy Tank

The KV-85 was a stopgap solution developed to upgrade the firepower of Soviet heavy tanks during World War II. Built by mounting a new turret—originally designed for the KV-13 universal tank project—onto the well-armored KV-1S hull, it was equipped with the powerful D5-T 85mm cannon. Though only produced in limited numbers, the KV-85 proved itself a serious threat to formidable German tanks like the Panther and Tiger.
