The Institute remains one of the most mysterious and feared factions in the Wasteland. To most survivors, it is a technological myth or a living nightmare: a secretive organization capable of creating perfect human replicas and replacing people without leaving a trace. Very few have uncovered the true nature of the Institute, and even fewer have lived to tell the tale.
