Malifaux is a twisted mirror of an alternate Earth in the 1900s, a world of gothic horror, Victorian architecture, steampunk constructs, and wild west gunslingers. In these unstable and dangerous lands, the undead coexist with monstrous apparitions and other entities born of nightmare or forbidden science. Despite the hostile environment, some still venture here, drawn by Soulstones—valuable resources buried deep within cavernous catacombs, worth far more than the risks required to obtain them.
