Commandant Matthias Alborough surveyed the vast expanse beyond the towering viewports of the Chione class submarine Benefaction. While the depths of the ocean might instill fear in lesser men, Alborough remained steadfast, seeing only opportunity in the abyss. To him, the unknown depths ahead symbolized the limitless possibilities of the future—a canvas upon which he would assert his dominance for the greater good. Below him, amidst the labyrinth of walkways and bustling consoles, officers relayed orders and automatons dutifully performed the essential tasks required to sustain a vessel of such magnitude.
