Chi-Nu Medium Tank

Japan’s armoured forces spent much of the Second World War trying to close the gap between their own tanks and increasingly capable Allied vehicles. The Type 3 Chi-Nu was the culmination of that development. Built around the proven foundations of the Chi-Ha, it introduced substantially improved protection together with a powerful 75mm Type 3 main gun, giving Japanese armoured units a vehicle designed with the M4 Sherman firmly in mind.
