The Rent in the Sky shines across the full spectrum of light. When it lights up, it bathes Venice in a brilliant gold; when it dims, it appears as a thin silver glimmer. Some evenings it appears a sickly green in Dorsoduro while simultaneously glowing bright pink from the Arsenale, creating a constantly changing vision of the sky.
