British Union Brigade

Few cavalry formations achieved the legendary reputation of Britain’s Union Brigade during the Napoleonic Wars. Comprised of elite English, Scottish and Irish heavy dragoon regiments, the brigade became famous for its devastating charge against d’Erlon’s French infantry columns during the opening stages of Waterloo.
